To rest is to stop. To be at rest, is to be at peace. Both of which are essential if we are to experience the deepness of intimacy with God.
For one to have implicit trust in the Almighty, one must have absolute peace. For the fruit of absolute peace is trust.
Trust so great, as to forfeit all of self, and surrender wholeheartedly to His divine care. To hide oneself away in the secret place, leaving this world to escape into His chamber and in the depths of His Love
It is there that healing flows like a waterfall, and one is equipped for the call.
“Come away with me. Let us go alone to a quiet place and rest for a while.” He says.
A while ……… He only beckons us for a while, but a while with the King is timeless … and its magnitude immeasurable.
Can you spare ‘a while’ ?
